Obstacles We Overcame

Cyclone Ditwah

  • Severe weather disrupted travel and shopping
  • Shops closed, roads dangerous
  • We adapted our schedule and pushed through

Photocopying Machine Price Hike

  • Budget: Rs. 70,000 — Real cost: Rs. 300,000+
  • Cheap machines break easily — not acceptable
  • We donated Rs. 99,500 in cash instead

We couldn't buy a quality copier within budget. Instead of giving them a cheap machine that would break, we gave them a significant head start toward buying a reliable one.
